A Nice, Slow Weekday

As you may know, I spent the weekend in Detroit, where it was surprisingly warmer and less precipitous than DC, but certainly was no vacation. Back in the Commonwealth of Virginia today, it’s good to be home. Jessie and I enjoyed our night together, which included decorating our Christmas tree. It is on days like these that I have little to say other than ‘all is well’. It’s days like these that feeling and being ‘normal’ is a blessing to behold.
