You may not recognize my name, and I realize it’s been a while, but we had a couple of laughs using dodge-ball as a disciplinary tool while working as “counselors” at the YMCA sports day-camp many a year ago. While reflecting on those fine memories today, I decided to google some names from that summer, and I discovered your web-site.
So, with the re-introduction out of the way, where to begin: Foremost – I am extremely glad to hear you are doing well with treatment. While initially shocked to learn about your condition, my feelings quickly, and not surprisingly, turned after I read a couple of your blog entries to great admiration with regard to the manner in which you have chosen to live your life.
I am heartened to see your sense of humor remains fully intact and you have the class to work out in a tuxedo t-shirt to boot. I hope you can find a couple of minutes today to chuckle about the Y antics from 97 and 98.
Keep up the good fight and I wish you the best of luck. Give me a shout when you get the chance.
Bassimus - My favorite part is still the loincloth! It was so great seeing you this weekend! I had a great fake easter with you. Hope to see you again soon! Love you!
I like it, how long did this take? Your signature is really the highlight…
Wow, Bassy - there are so many things to discuss in this picture. Are you wearing brown-braided shoes? Sable must be so jealous….
Are those the new Birkenstock’s??
BASSIMUS! BASSIMUS! BASSIMUS!!
Brian -
